New Collection: Ages of Living
They say getting old isn’t for wimps. At Pre&ent and Le Groupe Maurice, we agree. We think getting old is for everyone who has an unfinished story. Everyone who’s been there, done that, and still wants more.
Everyone who’s learned that life is change, and change means constantly adapting. We challenged ourselves to take a different look at seniors, to create a new collection for Canadian organizations seeking a new take on an old narrative.
In the process, we found people who aren’t just managing, but also thriving. People who rely on their past to shape their future. People for whom growing older means growing.

Richmond Lam
Richmond Lam is a portrait and documentary photographer based in Montréal, originally from Hong Kong, with formative years spent in London.
His practice is grounded in a quiet, empathetic gaze—attuned to subtle gestures and unspoken atmospheres. Working fluidly between personal and commissioned projects, Richmond creates intimate, psychologically rich portraits that explore presence, identity, and place. His subjects have included notable figures across the realms of art, music, and commerce.

Jeanne Castonguay
Emerging artist from Montreal, Jeanne Castonguay-Carrière lives in Longueuil. After several years working in the arts, film, and communications, she turned to photography in 2019 and received the M5 Excellence Award from Collège Marsan in 2021.
Her commercial and artistic projects have been featured in numerous publications and group exhibitions in Montreal. Her practice, situated between documentary and vernacular photography, reflects the doubts and questions that shape her vision of the world. Rooted in her experience as a mother and her identity as a woman, her work explores themes of family, environment, and community.
